The Metropolitan state of New York in the US is hit hard by the head rains leaving almost everything around to a standstill. Due to this, there is a heavy disruption of public movement, and the concerned authorities advised people to be cautious when they step out. The roads turned pools with the heavy downpours.

The impact of the heavy downpours was such that there was water everywhere and the terminals of the Airport were also closed. Public life was disrupted and the vehicles were submerged in the rainwater. Water entered the subways and highways as well.

Experts say that New York has not seen such a massive rainfall in recent times. Roads were filled with water and people who were on the road at the time of rain faced severe issues. The rescue operation was launched to help people who were struck by water.

Heavy rains hit the state and there is water everywhere. Be it the roads or the places there was water all over and people faced hell. It is said that power was cut in many regions as a safety measure.

Responding to the issue, the New York Governor warned people to not step out unless it was an emergency as the heavy rain was expected to impact the state yet again.

Since Friday night New York has been seeing the flood-like situation as a few properties were also damaged. Furniture in a few restaurants was also washed away by the floods.

Mayor Eric Adams advised people to stay home and find a shelter to stay safe if they are out. Talking about the possible rainfall again the Mayor warned people to be cautious.
