Born Elisabet Avramidou Granlund on July 29, 1990, in Stockholm, Sweden, Elli moved to Mumbai to pursue her Bollywood dreams. She first gained attention after appearing in the 2013 reality show Bigg Boss (Season 7). Her film debut came with the Hindi comedy Mickey Virus (2013). She rose to prominence with the hit Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon (2015) opposite Kapil Sharma.

Elli has worked across Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Marathi cinema, delivering memorable performances in Malang, Goodbye, Naane Varuvean (with Dhanush), Ganapath, and Conjuring Kannappan. She also made her Marathi debut with Ilu Ilu 1998.
