The action-packed movie Devara: Part 1, starring Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, has shown a slight drop in its box office earnings on its second Friday. On Day 8, the film earned ₹6.25 crore, bringing its total domestic collection to ₹221.85 crore. Directed by Koratala Siva and produced under NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts, Devara has been released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. Despite the dip, industry experts believe that the film has potential to continue performing well before competition from other films arriving on October 11.

In Devara: Part 1, Jr NTR plays dual roles as Devara and Varadha, while Janhvi Kapoor portrays the character Thangam. Saif Ali Khan stars as the main antagonist, Bhaira, marking his debut in the Telugu film industry, alongside Janhvi. The film also features actors like Zarina Wahab, Shine Tom Chacko, and Shruti Marathe. Although the film’s opening was modest, the numbers grew by the evening of its first day due to strong support from mass audiences.

Critics like Taran Adarsh have praised the film's box office performance despite its low initial buzz. He noted that Devara had a successful first week, and with no major releases until October 11, it still has time to accumulate a higher total.

Recently, pictures of Jr NTR in his fierce “mass avatar” from Devara have gone viral on social media, adding to the excitement and continuing to boost the film's popularity.
