Starting her career at a young age, Batra began modeling part-time and gained fame with her iconic Liril soap commercial.

She became the first Indian face of Head and Shoulders in India and participated in over 250 modeling events and ad campaigns. Her crowning moment came when she won the Miss India International title in 1993, propelling her to become one of the top models in India.

Despite receiving numerous offers, Batra prioritized her education before signing with Virasat Film Studio. She made her film debut in 1997 with "Virasat" followed by "Bhai" and went on to star in over 20 films, including "Haseena Maan Jayegi," "Dil Ne Phir Yaad Kiya," and "Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye."
