This radiant appearance comes on the heels of her acclaimed role in the Netflix thriller Raat Akeli Hai: The Bansal Murders (2025), the sequel to the 2020 hit, where she starred alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Her performance earned her the Best Actress OTT award at the Iconic Gold Awards 2026.

Chitrangda made her Bollywood debut in 2005 with the critically acclaimed crime drama Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, directed by Sudhir Mishra, which won her the Bollywood Movie Award for Best Female Debut. Over the years, she has delivered memorable roles in films like Yeh Saali Zindagi (2011), Desi Boyz (2011), Baazaar (2018), Bob Biswas (2021), and Gaslight (2023). She also turned producer with the sports drama Soorma (2018).

Currently, her career is thriving with diverse projects, including appearances in Housefull 5 (2025), Khakee: The Bengal Chapter (2025), and the upcoming war drama Battle of Galwan (2026) opposite Salman Khan. She is also stepping into production for a biopic in 2026, showcasing her evolving presence in Hindi cinema.
