Chitrangada will next be seen in Raat Akeli Hai 2. It is the sequel to the 2020 Netflix crime thriller Raat Akeli Hai. Honey Trehan is directing the film again. Nawazuddin Siddiqui returns as Inspector Jatil Yadav. This time, the story brings a new mystery. It starts with Jatil living peacefully with Radha. Radhika Apte plays Radha again.

Filming began in January 2025. The team shot scenes in Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, and Kanpur. Shooting ended in early March. Nawazuddin said that only a few days were left by the end of March. The film is produced by RSVP Movies. Smita Singh Khan is writing the script again. The release is expected on Netflix in late 2025.
