Nimrat who was born in Rajasthan grew up in an army family moving frequently from one city to another. However her life took a challenging turn when she lost her father in a courageous counter-terrorist operation at a young age. These opportunities allowed Nimrat to work with prominent brands such as Asian Paints, ICICI, Videocon, Pantaloons, Samsung, Aircel and Cadbury. Her work in these commercials established a strong foothold in the entertainment world.
