Born in Melbourne, Australia to Tamil-Malayalee parents, Chandrika Ravi is an actress, dancer, model, and UNICEF India Ambassador. She began her career in modeling and pageants before transitioning to acting. She signed her first Tamil film Sei in 2017 (released later) and gained massive popularity with her breakthrough role as a ghost in the 2018 adult horror-comedy hit Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu.

Her notable works include special song appearances in the blockbuster Veera Simha Reddy (2023) opposite Nandamuri Balakrishna and Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi (2025). She has also appeared in Blackmail (2025) and other South Indian projects.

Currently, Chandrika has several exciting projects lined up, including K-Ramp (2025), The Chili Score (2025), Saanvle music video (2026), and a powerful central role in the action-drama The Black Gold. She is also set to portray the legendary actress Silk Smitha in the official biopic Silk Smitha: Queen of the South, which is generating huge buzz.
