Actress Chaithra J Achar shared a new photo on Instagram. Her caption read, “Hi🤍”.In the photo, she is sitting on a green sofa and is wearing a crisp white shirt. She has paired it with a pleated skirt in white and blue patterns. Her hair is left open in soft waves.

For actress Chaithra J Achar, the key to working in the film industry is clear. She believes you must “seek validation for your craft, not your personal choices."This belief helps her stay calm during online trolling.Recently, people online spoke about her after she posted a photo wearing jeans.

In that photo, part of a thong was seen at the waist. Some people made harsh comments. One popular comment said, “When actors run out of opportunities, they indulge in such shoots to fetch attention.”

Chaithra remembers a moment early in her career that was very difficult.“About four years ago, I wore a risqué gown to a film award function. The kind of comments I received were brutal. I remember waking up in the middle of the night to check what new hate had landed on my wall. It deeply affected me at the time — I shudder to think how much space it took up in my mind. But thankfully, I had the right kind of people around me, who helped me snap out of it. That was the last time I let trolls get to me.”

She adds, “At home, we were raised to see the good in people. We were taught tradition, but also given the freedom to make our own choices. So yes, I can recite Devar Naama just as comfortably as I can carry a bold look. People forget that being rooted in culture and being expressive with your style aren’t mutually exclusive.”
