Born on 17 July 1986 in Mumbai, Chahatt began her career at 16 with a Cadbury’s advertisement. She made her film debut in 2005 with 7½ Phere… More Than a Wedding as Piyaali “Piya” Joshi and appeared in the thriller The Film the same year.

She gained widespread recognition on television as Ayesha Sharma in the popular series Bade Achhe Lagte Hain (2011–2013) and as Nida in Qubool Hai. Her film credits also include Thank You (2011), Prassthanam (2019), and Yaatris (2023).

In recent years, Chahatt has expanded into digital platforms. She made her OTT debut as the enigmatic Chanda in Devangana (2025) and starred in the web series Hasratein on Hungama OTT (2026), playing a single mother. With additional projects in the pipeline, she continues to soar with resilience and style.
