Born on September 10, 1989, in Dubai to Malayali parents, Catherine Tresa made her film debut in the 2010 Kannada movie Shankar IPS. She gained wider recognition with the Tamil film Madras (2014) opposite Karthi and has since built a strong career across Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam cinema. Notable works include Sarrainodu, Rudhramadevi, Bimbisara, Waltair Veerayya, and the recent Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu (2026).

Her ongoing projects include the ambitious socio-fantasy Karikaala, where she plays the female lead opposite Sundeep Kishan. Directed by Ugandhar Muni and planned as a multilingual two-part release in 2027, the film marks an exciting new chapter for the actress.
