Meanwhile in recent interview, Catherine Tresa South Indian cinema, feels she hasn’t been given the space to show her full potential. While many fans know her for glamorous roles, she wants to break that image and take on more meaningful characters that allow her to grow as an artist.

Even though she has acted in many languages Telugu, Tamil, Kannada Catherine says it was never about the language, but the story and the connection with people. She doesn't speak all the languages fluently but focuses on whether the film can touch the audience.

Her upcoming film Phani is her most challenging role yet. She had to act in a scene with a live snake, which tested her courage. Catherine says the fear helped make the scene more real and powerful.
