One of the leading tech entrepreneurs and the founder of Microsoft Bill Gates is currently in Andhra Pradesh as he is visiting the capital city of Amaravati. He was welcomed by chief minister Chandrababu and deputy CM Pawan Kalyan along with IT Minister Lokesh.

In this connection, something interesting is happening now as Bill Gates, Chairman of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, visited the Real Time Governance Society center at the Secretariat in Amaravati along with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.

The visit highlighted the state government’s push towards technology driven administration and transparent governance. During the tour of the RTGS center, the Chief Minister explained how real time governance systems are helping the government deliver public services faster and more efficiently. He detailed how data is collected, monitored, and analyzed to improve decision making and ensure timely response to citizen needs.

The presentation focused on measurable outcomes achieved through technology integration across departments. Bill Gates was briefed on key initiatives such as the Data Lake platform, Aware 2.0 monitoring system, WhatsApp Governance model, and the Sanjeevani Project in the healthcare sector. Officials also showcased the development plans and digital monitoring systems supporting the capital city projects in Amaravati.

Large display walls inside the RTGS center demonstrated live dashboards, analytics tools, and performance tracking systems. Gates closely examined the presentations and interacted with officials to understand how data driven governance is being implemented at scale in Andhra Pradesh.
