Born on October 13, 2001, in Jalandhar, Punjab, Avneet began as a child dancer on Dance India Dance Li'l Masters (2010) and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5. Her acting debut came in 2012 with TV's Meri Maa, followed by shows like Chandra Nandini and the popular Aladdin – Naam Toh Suna Hoga (as Princess Yasmine). She made her film debut in 2014 with Mardaani (supporting role). Breakthroughs include Tiku Weds Sheru (2023) opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Luv Ki Arrange Marriage, and others.

Her recent highlight is the Indo-Vietnamese romantic drama Love in Vietnam (released September 2025), co-starring Shantanu Maheshwari, inspired by Madonna in a Fur Coat.
