Born on October 13, 2001, Avneet began her journey as a child dancer on Dance India Dance Li'l Masters. She made her television acting debut with Meri Maa (2012) and gained early film exposure with a supporting role in the 2014 blockbuster Mardaani opposite Rani Mukerji, playing the character Meera. She appeared in Mardaani 2 (2019) as well. Her lead film debut came with the Prime Video comedy-drama Tiku Weds Sheru (2023) alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui, where she played Tasleem “Tiku” Khan. She has also featured in films like Chidiakhana (2023), Luv Ki Arrange Marriage (2024, later on ZEE5), and Party Till I Die.

In 2025, she expanded her horizons with the Indo-Vietnamese romantic drama Love in Vietnam, released on September 12, 2025. The film, co-starring Shantanu Maheshwari, marked India’s first major cinematic collaboration with Vietnam and was based on the novel Madonna in a Fur Coat. As of early 2026, Avneet is actively exploring diverse roles and has expressed interest in doing an action film.
