Born on January 25, 2005, in Union City, California, to a Telugu family, Avantika began as a dancer, placing second in Dance India Dance L’il Masters (North America). She made her acting debut as a child artist in the Telugu film Brahmotsavam (2016) alongside Mahesh Babu, followed by roles in Manamantha and Premam.

Transitioning to Hollywood, she starred as the lead in Disney’s Spin (2021), appeared in Senior Year (2022), and gained major recognition as Karen Shetty in the 2024 musical Mean Girls and in the horror film Tarot. Ongoing projects include the action thriller Pretty Lethal, the Hulu series Not Suitable for Work, a special appearance in Champion (2025), and the upcoming Disney+ series A Crown of Wishes. Avantika continues to shine as a versatile rising star bridging Indian and American cinema.
