Draped in a molten bronze backless gown that catches light like liquid metal, she keeps everything else bare: sleek high ponytail, barely-there accessories, and a gaze that says everything without trying too hard. The dramatic spotlight carves her silhouette into pure elegance, proving that sometimes all you need is one perfect shade of shimmer and unapologetic confidence.
Ashika established herself as a great actress in Kannada and Telugu cinema. Her next big release is Gatha Vaibhava which is a romantic drama directed by Simple Suni. The film promises an emotional journey through four connected love stories set in different timelines.
The first song from the movie, ‘Varnamaala,’ was launched recently in Hyderabad. The Telugu version features the voices of Chinmayi Sripaada and Anurag Kulkarni, while the Kannada version is sung by Abhinandan Mahishale and Sunidhi Ganesh. Music is composed by Judah Sandhy, and lyrics are by Krishna Kanth. The track gives a pleasant 90s feel, with soft flute and tabla beats bringing nostalgia to music lovers.
In Gatha Vaibhava, SS Dushyanth plays the male lead opposite Ashika. The film also stars Sudha Belavadi, Kishen Bilagali, Krishna Hebbale, and Krishna Jorapur. It is jointly produced by Deepak Thimmappa and Suni under Servegara Silver Screens and Suni Cinemas, and will release in Kannada and Telugu on November 14.
Ashika is also part of Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film Vishwambhara set for Summer 2026, and another movie with Ravi Teja.
