Born on September 28, 1999, in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, Anukreethy was raised by her mother Seleena and studied French at Loyola College, Chennai. She rose to national fame after winning Femina Miss Tamil Nadu 2018 and the coveted Femina Miss India 2018 title. She represented India at Miss World 2018 in China, placing in the Top 30.

She made her acting debut in the Tamil action-comedy DSP (2022), starring opposite Vijay Sethupathi and directed by Ponram. She followed it with her Telugu debut as Jayavani in the biographical action film Tiger Nageswara Rao (2023) alongside Ravi Teja, and appeared in the Hindi film Visfot (2024).

Upcoming projects include the lead role in the action-thriller Bang Bang with Prabhu Deva and Vadivelu, and a significant part in Ken Royson’s film featuring Kavin, Sandy, and Priyanka Mohan. Anukreethy continues to grow as a versatile performer across South Indian and Hindi cinema.
