In the film Malli Raava (2017), she portrayed the younger version of the main actress, showcasing her acting talent and earning her more roles in the industry.
Despite facing setbacks, like a film with Naga Shaurya and Eesha Rebba that didn't take off, Asrani persevered. In 2018, she ventured into Tamil television with Sun TV's Minnale, where she plays the lead role. Her big break came with Pressure Cooker (2020), where she debuted as a lead actress opposite Sai Ronak.
Asrani's talent isn't limited to one language; she made her Tamil debut with Ayothi (2023) alongside Sasikumar, based on true events. Her performance received widespread critical acclaim, further solidifying her position in the industry.
