In 2005, Andrea had a small part at the end of the film "Kanda Naal Mudhal." Her career in films and music advanced significantly after she sang a song for Gautham Vasudev Menon’s "Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu." Following this, Menon offered her a lead role in his next film, "Pachaikili Muthucharam.”
