The versatile Tamil and Malayalam star, also a renowned playback singer, debuted in acting with Pachaikili Muthucharam (2007 Tamil). She gained acclaim for roles in Aayirathil Oruvan (2010), Annayum Rasoolum (2013 Malayalam debut), Vishwaroopam (2013), Vada Chennai (2018), Taramani (2017), Master (2021), and Saindhav (2024 Telugu). Known for her powerful voice in songs and soulful performances, she also produces music.

Her ongoing projects include the thriller Mask (2025, also co-producer, released November 2025, OTT in 2026), adventure Kaa - The Forest (2026), Manushi (2026 Tamil), and potential reprise as Chandra in Vetri Maaran's Arasan. She continues shining on stage and screen.
