The versatile actress and singer began her career as a playback singer with the hit track “Kannum Kannum Nokia” from Anniyan (2005). She made her acting debut in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam (2007) as Kalyani.

She rose to prominence with roles in Aayirathil Oruvan (2010), Mankatha (2011), and her Malayalam debut Annayum Rasoolum (2013). Standout performances followed in Vishwaroopam, Aranmanai, Taramani (2017), Vada Chennai (2018 as Chandra), Master (2021), and Anel Meley Pani Thuli (2022).

Recently, she appeared in the Telugu film Saindhav (2024) and co-produced and starred in Mask (2025). Upcoming projects include Kaa – The Forest, Leader (as Inspector Indhra), Pisaasu II, and Arasan, where she reprises her iconic role as Chandra from Vada Chennai.
