Born on 15 May 1985, Anasuya began her career as a television host and rose to fame anchoring the popular comedy show Jabardasth. She transitioned to films with a special appearance in Soggade Chinni Nayana (2016) and made her proper acting debut the same year in Kshanam as ACP Jaya, earning praise for her negative role.

She gained wider recognition with her powerful supporting role as Kolli Rangamma in Rangasthalam (2018). Other notable films include Yatra, Pushpa: The Rise (2021) and its sequel Pushpa 2: The Rule (2024) as Dakshayani, Bheeshma Parvam (Malayalam), Michael, Vimanam, and Razakar.

As of 2026, her upcoming projects include Nagabandham: The Secret Treasure (as Leelavathi), the Tamil film Wolf, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, and Ari: My Name Is Nobody. Balancing anchoring and acting, Anasuya continues to shine in Telugu cinema with her versatile performances.
