Anasuya Bharadwaj has had an inspiring journey. She started as a news presenter and became a well-known actress in Telugu films. Her acting and hosting skills show her versatility. Besides her talent, she is admired for her fashion sense.

Anasuya made her film debut with Naaga in 2003. It was a political action film featuring N. T. Rama Rao Jr. The film was directed by D. K. Suresh. Music directors Vidyasagar and Deva composed the soundtrack. Naaga was released on January 10, 2003. It received negative reviews and did not perform well at the box office. The storyline was compared to the Tamil film Mudhalvan (1999).

She was last seen in Pushpa 2: The Rule, released in 2024. The Telugu action drama was directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers with Sukumar Writings. It was a sequel to Pushpa: The Rise (2021). The film featured Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Sunil and Rao Ramesh.

Anasuya will soon appear in Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 – Sword. The upcoming Telugu historical action-adventure film is directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and A. M. Jyothi Krishna. The film depicts the life of outlaw Veera Mallu. Pawan Kalyan plays the lead role, with Bobby Deol, Nidhhi Agerwal, Nargis Fakhri, and Nora Fatehi. The story is set in the 17th-century Mughal Empire.

Anasuya recently posted a picture on Instagram wearing a soft pink dress. The high-neck design had silver detailing. Her caption included a line from Taylor Swift’s song Blank Space.
