Daughter of actor Chunky Panday, Ananya made her Bollywood debut in 2019 with the romantic comedies Student of the Year 2 (as Shreya) and Pati Patni Aur Woh (as Tapasya), winning the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. She has since built a versatile career with films like Gehraiyaan, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, CTRL, the series Call Me Bae, and Kesari Chapter 2.
