Dastur began her journey in the entertainment industry as a model, starring in various commercials. She made her debut in Hindi cinema with the romantic drama "Issaq," directed by Manish Tiwary, alongside Prateik Babbar. Venturing into Tamil cinema, she marked her presence with "Anegan," directed by K. V. Anand, starring opposite actor Dhanush.

Stepping onto the international stage, Amyra starred alongside the legendary Jackie Chan in "Kung Fu Yoga," which premiered in India in February 2017. Her talent further shone in director Akshat Verma's "Kaalakaandi," sharing the screen with Saif Ali Khan and grooving to a peppy dance number choreographed by Adil Malik.
