Born on 7 May 1993 in Mumbai to a Parsi family, Amyra Dastur began as a model in commercials before entering films. She made her acting debut in the Hindi romantic drama Issaq (2013) as Bachchi Kashyap. Her Tamil breakthrough came with Anegan (2015), where she played multiple roles opposite Dhanush. The same year she starred in the Hindi sci-fi thriller Mr. X with Emraan Hashmi.

Her career spans languages and genres. Key films include the international Kung Fu Yoga (2017) alongside Jackie Chan, Kaalakaandi (2018), Rajma Chawal (2018), Judgementall Hai Kya and Prassthanam (both 2019), Made in China (2019), Koi Jaane Na (2021), Jogi (2022), the Tamil action film Bagheera (2023), and Punjabi projects such as Any How Mitti Pao and Chidiyan Da Chamba (2023). She also appeared in the OTT series Bambai Meri Jaan (2023) and the Punjabi film Furteela (2024).
