Aamna started her acting journey with the TV show "Kahiin to Hoga" where she played Kashish Sinha alongside Rajeev Khandelwal. Later, she appeared in "Hongey Judaa Na Hum" as Muskaan Mishra opposite Raqesh Vashisth.

She also stepped into Bollywood with the 2009 film "Aloo Chaat" alongside Aftab Shivdasani. Despite her Bollywood ventures not gaining much recognition, her talent brought her back to television with "Hongey Judaa Na Hum" in 2012.
