Born Harini Gowda on December 24, 1991, in Bangalore, Karnataka, Akshara Gowda is a talented Indian actress and model who works across Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada cinema. She made her acting debut in the Tamil film Uyarthiru 420 (2011). That same year, she appeared in the Hindi film Chitkabrey – The Shades of Grey. She gained wider recognition with a special appearance in the blockbuster Thuppakki (2012) opposite Vijay and made her full Bollywood debut in Priyadarshan’s Rangrezz (2013).

Her notable films include Arrambam (2013), Maayavan (2017), The Warriorr (2022), Nene Naa (2023), Das Ka Dhamki (2023), and Harom Hara (2024). She recently won acclaim for her supporting role in the web series The Mystery of Moksha Island.

Akshara has the Kannada film Terror (2026) in her pipeline, alongside other exciting projects that continue to showcase her versatility and growing pan-Indian appeal.
