Akansha Ranjan Kapoor Creates a Dreamy Bridal Look with Vintage Elegance

Akansha Ranjan Kapoor shares a heartfelt glimpse into her styling process for Kanchi’s intimate wedding ceremony. Inspired by pressed flowers at Arpita Mehta’s store, she envisioned printing them on organza for a unique, personal touch. The bride wanted a red saree, which evolved into a stunning sindhoori red Benarasi with heavily embroidered dull gold vintage borders and a zardozi blouse accented with tiny mirrors.

The look was completed with a flowy drape, no head veil, and exquisite jewellery including an antique Kundan Meena choker with polki stones, emeralds, rubellites, matching ear studs, hath phool, antique bangles, and red choodas. Fresh skin, smudged eyeliner, and a nude lip by Bhavya Arora complemented the ensemble, with kaliras tied by loved ones.

Akansha noted: “I was struck by the pressed flowers... What if we print these on organza... So much modernity and heritage.” She praised the collaboration with @arpita__mehta, team, and photographers.
