Akansha Ranjan Kapoor Turns Heads in a Gorgeous Shimmering Saree Avatar

Born on September 18, 1993, in Mumbai, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor (sister of actress Anushka Ranjan) trained at Whistling Woods. She made her film debut in the Netflix thriller Guilty (2020) as Tanu Kumar, earning a Filmfare OTT Award nomination for her powerful performance.

She followed it with a role in the Netflix anthology Ray (2021) and played Nikki Adhikari in the black comedy Monica, O My Darling (2022) alongside Rajkummar Rao. In 2024 she made a cameo in Jigra. Her recent work includes the popular series Gram Chikitsalay (2025) as Dr. Gargi.

Upcoming projects feature Ikka (2026) as Soma Mittal opposite Akshaye Khanna and her South Indian debut in the Telugu-Tamil film MaayaOne. Married to filmmaker Sharan Sharma in 2026, Akansha continues to choose diverse and challenging roles across films and streaming platforms.
