Akansha Ranjan Kapoor Stuns in a Glamorous Royal Blue Gown

Akansha Ranjan Kapoor recently shared a captivating photo of herself in a striking royal blue gown, exuding glamour and confidence while seated in a vanity room setting, adjusting her gold heels. Born on September 18, 1993, in Mumbai, Akansha hails from a media family—her father Shashi Ranjan is an actor-director and her mother Anu Ranjan founded the Indian Television Academy. She is the sister of actress Anushka Ranjan and a close friend of Alia Bhatt.

She began with modeling and the TLC series Decoded in 2019, followed by the music video Tere Do Naina. Her film debut came with the Netflix thriller Guilty (2020), where she played Tanu Kumar and earned a Filmfare OTT Awards nomination for Best Supporting Actress. She followed this with the Netflix anthology Ray (2021), the black comedy Monica, O My Darling (2022) as Nikki Adhikari, a cameo in Jigra (2024), and the role of Dr. Gargi in the series Gram Chikitsalay (2025).

Ongoing projects include a special appearance in the Netflix legal drama Ikka (2026) alongside Sunny Deol and Akshaye Khanna, and her South Indian debut in the bilingual sci-fi thriller MaayaOne. Married to director Sharan Sharma in 2026, Akansha continues to build a versatile career across films and OTT platforms.
