Akansha Ranjan Kapoor is an Indian actress working primarily in Hindi films and web series. Born on 18 September 1993 in Mumbai, she is the daughter of producer-director Shashi Ranjan and Anu Ranjan, founder of the Indian Television Academy. Her sister is actress Anushka Ranjan. She trained at Whistling Woods International and is married to director Sharan Sharma.

She began with modeling and a music video before making her film debut in the Netflix thriller Guilty (2020) as Tanu Kumar, earning a Filmfare OTT Awards nomination for Best Supporting Actress. She followed it with a role in the Netflix anthology series Ray (2021) and appeared as Nikki Adhikari in the critically acclaimed Monica, O My Darling (2022).

She made a cameo appearance in Alia Bhatt’s Jigra (2024) and starred as Dr. Gargi in the series Gram Chikitsalay (2025–present). In 2026, she featured in a special appearance in the legal drama Ikka alongside Akshaye Khanna and Sunny Deol.

Ongoing projects include her biggest venture yet—a Telugu film debut—and MaayaOne. Akansha continues to choose diverse, performance-driven roles across platforms.
