Akanksha Sharma started her career in the entertainment world through modeling. She became known after participating in India's Next Top Model Season 2 in 2016. She was just 20 years old then. Her charming personality and confidence helped her gain attention in the industry.

In 2018, she appeared in her first music video titled “Do Din” by Darshan Raval. In 2020, she featured in “I Am Disco Dancer 2.0”, a remix of the classic 80s Bollywood song, performed by Benny Dayal.

Later in 2021, she was seen in two popular music videos — “Jugnu” by Badshah and Nikhita Gandhi, and “Casanova” by Tiger Shroff. These videos increased her popularity among young fans.

In 2023, she appeared in the Punjabi music video “Psycho” by Harrdy Sandhu, where her bold style was widely appreciated.

Akanksha made her film debut in the Kannada movie "Trivikrama" (2022), where she played the character Trisha. Now, she is set to appear in two exciting films in 2025: “Laila” (Telugu) as Jenny and “Kesari Veer” (Hindi) as Rajal.
