Born on 14 April 1996 in Bahadurgarh, Haryana, Akanksha started as a successful model, appearing in popular commercials (including Santoor) and music videos like “Disco 82” with Tiger Shroff. She made her acting debut in 2022 with the Kannada romantic drama Trivikrama, playing Trisha opposite Vikram Ravichandran.

She expanded her horizons in 2025 with the Telugu film Laila, where her role as Jenny was praised for being bold and glamorous. The same year, she featured in the Hindi film Kesari Veer as Rajal. Her career gained major momentum with the upcoming Bollywood project Tera Yaar Hoon Main (scheduled for May 2026 release), a heartfelt musical love story directed by Milap Zaveri, where she stars opposite debutant Aman Indra Kumar (son of Indra Kumar). She is also reportedly paired with Harshvardhan Rane in another untitled project and has been linked to a romantic musical by Remo D’Souza.
