Aishwarya Lekshmi is a talented Indian actress who primarily works in Malayalam and Tamil cinema, with appearances in Telugu films as well. Born on 6 September 1991 in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, she is a trained doctor who transitioned from modeling into acting.

She made her acting debut in the Malayalam family drama Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela (2017), earning the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South. She gained critical acclaim with Mayaanadhi (2017) and the thriller Varathan (2018).

Her career expanded with notable roles in Kaanekkaane (2021), the Tamil sports drama Gatta Kusthi (2022), and Mani Ratnam’s epic Ponniyin Selvan: I and II (2022–2023), where she played Poonguzhali. Other successes include Ammu (2022), Hello Mummy (2024), and Maaman (2025).

Ongoing projects include the sequel Gatta Kusthi 2 (2026), the Malayalam film Aasha (2026), and Mani Ratnam’s Thug Life (2025). Aishwarya continues to impress with versatile performances across South Indian cinema.
