Born and raised in Mumbai, Aamna Sharif began her journey in the entertainment industry through modeling. Aamna’s acting career took off when she played the role of Kashish Sinha in the famous TV serial Kahiin To Hoga opposite Rajeev Khandelwal. The show became one of the most loved dramas on Indian television in the early 2000s. Viewers adored the on screen chemistry between Aamna and Rajeev and their pairing became iconic. Many fans even believed they were dating in real life, though both actors eventually clarified that they had moved on from those rumors.

After achieving great fame on television, Aamna made her Bollywood debut in 2009 with the film Aloo Chaat alongside Aftab Shivdasani. The same year, she acted in Aao Wish Karein with Aftab again. Later, she appeared in Ek Villain (2014) directed by Mohit Suri. Though her movies did not bring major success, Aamna’s charm and acting skills kept her in the public eye.

In 2012, Aamna returned to the small screen with Hongey Judaa Na Hum opposite Raqesh Vashisth, reminding audiences why she was one of the most graceful actresses on TV. After a brief break, she made another strong comeback in 2019 with the show Kasautii Zindagii Kay where she played the iconic negative role of Komolika Basu by replacing Hina Khan. Her performance received appreciation for bringing freshness and elegance to the character.
