Born on 16 July 1982 in Mumbai, Aamna Sharif began her career with music videos and modeling before making her television debut as Kashish Sinha in the hugely popular Kahiin to Hoga (2003–2007) opposite Rajeev Khandelwal. The role made her a household name. She later played Muskaan in Hongey Judaa Na Hum (2012–2013) and returned to television as the iconic antagonist Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 (2019–2020).

Her film journey started with the Tamil movie Jjunction (2002), followed by Hindi films Aloo Chaat and Aao Wish Karein (both 2009), Shakal Pe Mat Ja (2011), and a supporting role in Ek Villain (2014). In the digital space, she appeared in the web series Damaged 3 (2022) as DSP Rashmi Singh and Aadha Ishq (2022). Aamna continues to take on selective projects across television, OTT, and fashion while balancing her personal life.
