Born on December 30/31, 1994, in Mumbai to athlete parents Sudhir and Shobha Pohankar, Aaditi began in theatre under mentors like Makarand Deshpande. She made her film debut with a small role in the Hindi anthology Love Sex Aur Dhokha (2010). Her breakthrough came in the Marathi blockbuster Lai Bhaari (2014) opposite Riteish Deshmukh.

She expanded into Tamil cinema with Gemini Ganeshanum Suruli Raajanum (2017) and later Star (2024). Wider recognition arrived through web series: the Netflix hit She (2020–2022) as Bhumika Pardeshi and the popular MX Player series Aashram (2020–present) as Pammi.
