Why was Lakshmi Manchu upset?

It is known that Mohan Babu's Family extended support to Jayasudha in the MAA Elections. Victory of Rajendra Prasad by a big margin of 85 votes has only disappointed them.
Lakshmi Manchu who don't wish to hide her feelings told, "I was hurt seeing Jayasudha aunty getting defeated. I extended support to her as this is for the first time a woman is in race for MAA President post".
At the same time, The Versatile Actress conveyed hearty congratulations to Rajendra Prasad for winning the MAA President post. "I hope he brings in the much needed attention to the Association," she wished.
Lakshmi Manchu expressed her happiness over getting unanimously elected as MAA Vice President. Out of 26 Posts in MAA, 22 of them have been won by Jayasudha's Panel.
