Venky Item Girl Turned Mother

Few years back Heroine Raasi ruled the tollywood for some time and she was hot favorite of many youngsters.It has been quite a while since anyone has seen actress Raasi onscreen and those who saw her last were in for a shock because she had bloated out of proportion.

Though she started as a child artist, actress Raasi’s actual step to fame came after she became a heroine. Known for her homely roles and baby face, she had her own following. But in no time, this pretty lady began to put pounds of weight and became a bloated balloon. As expected, she went to shed.

As per latest reports Raasi has become a mother.Raasi-Nivas couple was blessed with a baby girl last night at a private hospital in Chennai. Both the mother and the baby are healthy, say sources close to the actress.

Raasi has debuted through Raogari Illu in 1988 and rose to fame with Gokulam lo Seetha and Subhakankshalu in 1997. The item number in Venky (2004) was her last notable appearance in Telugu cinema.
