Tollywood legendary actor gets rare honor from USA

The thespian of Indian cinema and legendry actor late Akkineni Nageshwara Rao has bagged one more major honor. According to reports The United States Postal Department has agreed to issue a postal stamp in memory of Nata Samrat Akkineni Nageshwar Rao.

The news was announced by US-based Akkineni Foundation. Akkineni Foundation of America has succeeded in narrating the actor’s historical journey to the USPS.According to president this is the first time in the history of the USA that an Indian film actor getting this kind of rare honor .The stamp will be released on ANR's birth anniversary that falls on September 20 and the Stamp release special ceremony will take place in Dallas

Akkineni foundation president thanked the USPS for granting this honor to the legendry actor. He said they also planning to release this same stamp in India at the first “International Akkineni Awards Ceremony” in the midst of ANR family members .This event will be held on December 17th , 2014 at ANR College, Gudivada, Krishna
