South Hero welcomes Salman Khan's conviction

The Indian Film Industry has been divided into two post Bollywood actor Salman Khan's conviction in 2002 Hit-and-Run Case. While most of the stars stood by Salman for various reasons including the Being Human initiative, There is an other sections which feel laws shouldn't be different for poor & celebs.
Mollywood actor Suresh Gopi who is quite popular all over South declares Salman Khan's conviction is justified. In an interview to a leading Malayalam news channel, He said what happened in the case of Salman is quite natural and justice took its course. 'A fair judgement is the responsibility of the court irrespective of the star status of the convict and in this case, Salman Khan who is a star with huge fan following, it's crucial as well,' he adds.
While Suresh Gopi is vocal about Salman's conviction in Hit-and-Run Case, Most of the Southern Stars maintained strategic silence on the judgement to avoid any sort of controversies. Chiranjeevi was one of those very few prominent personalities down South to respond first on the sentence. Whatever might be the views of individuals, Salman has to go behind the bars for the big mistake he committed and that's final.
