Rumours were abuzz that Producer Prasad V Potluri has offered a staggering Rs 25 crore pay cheque to Mahesh Babu as remuneration for the upcoming flick 'Brahmotsavam'. This flick is being directed by Srikanth Addala of 'Kotha Bangaru Lokam', 'SVSC' and 'Mukunda'.
In fact, A remuneration of Rs 25 crore for a Tollywood Hero is out of question at the moment. For films '1 - Nenokkadine' and 'Aagadu', Mahesh Babu was paid anywhere between Rs 14 to Rs 16 crore. Neither of these flicks crossed a share of Rs 35 crore and eventually ended as huge disasters in the career of Prince.
What would be final budget of the movie if Mahesh Babu alone charges Rs 25 crore? Not less than Rs 70 crore! Will the producer be able to make profits even if the film hist the bull's eye in such cases?
