Sankranti is one season which is very special for Tollywood as a number of big hits have been released during this auspicious period. So, At least two biggies will clash for Pongal every year.
Even for Sankranti 2015, Two Star-Studded Films namely 'Gopala Gopala' (starring Pawan Kalyan & Venkates) and Jr NTR-Puri Jagannath's 2nd flick were supposed to hit the screens. However, the delay in the 2nd schedule of NTR's project hints it willn't make it to the theaters during Pongal. So, NTR-Puri flick might be releasing sometime in March 2015.
On the other hand, 'Gopala Gopala' is nearing completion. Except for few combination scenes of Pawan Kalyan-Venkatesh and 20% of Talkie, Director Kishore Pardasany (Koncham Ishtam Koncham Kastam fame) has wrapped up the entire shooting. As a result, This flick will be in theaters for Sankranthi and the 'solo' release factor is gonna be a huge benefit. 'Gopala Gopala'is likely to release on January 13th, 2015.
