No role for Trisha in Pawan's Movie

Speculations began doing rounds that Trisha is part of 'Atharintiki Daredi' Kannada remake 'Ranna' which stars Sudeep in lead role. However, there seems to be no truth in these reports.
Actually, Trisha was the first choice to play one of the female leads in 'Ranna' but the opportunity was grabbed by Rachita Ram and Hari Priya for some reason. The Petite Beauty, however, got the opportunity to shake her leg in the item number which was done by Mumtaz & Hamsa Nandini in the original. But, Trisha's Mom Uma Krishnan condemns reports of anyone from 'Ranna' team approaching them.
Trisha's Kannada debut happened with Puneet Rajkumar's 'Power' which is a remake of 'Dookudu'. This cop drama went on to become a good hit in the Kannada Industry.
