Defamation case against Kaththi

Controversies related to Vijay and Samantha starrer 'Kaththi' aren't going to end anytime soon. An advocate has dragged the makers to court for a dialogue referring to 2G Spectrum case,
Advocate R Ramasubramanian filed the petition in Judicial Magistrate court against Vijay, AR Murugadoss and Production House 'Lyca Productions' for the dialogue 'This Nation is of Corrupt who looted crores by keeping 2G waves'. The petitioner alleged makers have no right to come to a conclusion that corruption occurred in the allocation of 2G Spectrum when the case is still pending in the Delhi court.
Mr. Ramasubramanian pointed out this violation could be treated under section 500 (defamation) of Indian Penal Code (IPC). The court accepted the petition and adjourned the case to November 11th.
