As expected Rajamouli's magnum opus, Baahubali is shattering all possible records. Never before in the history of Telugu films in overseas market, a Telugu film has crossed One Million dollars on the very first day of its premieres.
The movie’s Telugu version had taken a sensational start there by collecting $ 1,294,451 [ 8.20 cr] from premieres alone.Many screens are yet to be reported too. So it would touch almost One and half (1.5M) million dollars mark. Baahuabli surpassed premier shows record of Mahesh Aagadu(550K$)
The film is performing well on Friday as well. It is estimated that whopping $750k plus will be reported from Friday collections.
If that happens Baahubali will reach 2 million mark on Friday itself and as per reports the film likely to collect 3 million dollars by end of its first weekend.
As per early trends, the movie will collect over ₹30 crore at the worldwide box office on the first day, becoming the biggest opener of 2015 in Indian cinema. Stay tuned to read the first day collection reports of "Baahubali".
