Director Raghava Lawrence is known as multi talented and he succeeded as choreographer, director and actor. His market got disturbed in Tollywood with disastrous result of Prabhas starrer 'Rebel,' and he shifted focus to Kollywood.
Lawrence latest offering of Kanchana 2 ('Ganga') released along with OK Bangaram in Tamil and the film opened to thunderous response in Tamil Nadu. The film which released along with Mani Ratnam directed Ok Kanmani has stamped its authority all over.
The film which carried huge expectations among Tollywood audiences has failed to release on the promised date (April 17) due to several financial blockades. Without much worried on the Telugu market, producers of Tamil version released the film and it received ratings ranging from 3.25 to 3.5 which is very rare for a horror comedy flick.
Now the good news here is that the financial roadblocks have been cleared and the movie got a clearance to release. Latest reports suggest that Ganga will hit the screens on April 24.
Bellamkonda Suresh is releasing the film in Telugu and its going to clash with Chaitu starrer Dochay movie.
