In the past few years, A lot of Telugu films have been remade in Hindi and most of them have been highly successful too. There seems to be no stopping for this remake trend at least in the near future.

Tollywood horror-comedy 'Kanchana' directed by choreographer-turned-director Raghava Lawrence was a smash hit at the Box Office. Now, this successful flick is going to be remade in Hindi to reach out to wider audience.

Acclaimed Director-cum-Producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali (Devdas, Black fame) has acquired the Hindi remake rights of this horror-comedy. The Hindi version will also be directed by Lawrence. It's still unclear if he will act in the remake as well or new face will reprise the multi-faceted role.

Meanwhile, Lawrence has been currently busy with the shoot of Muni 3 which is titled as 'Ganga'. Tapsee has been paired opposite Lawrence this time. 'Ganga' is expected to hit screens for Dussehra this year.
